1. Who we are

Coachly (“Coachly”, “we”, “us”) is an online programming and AI coaching practice run by Dhananjay Panage from India. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit coachly.in, contact us, book a session, or respond to one of our ads, and how we use it. If you have any questions, email us at dhananjay@coachly.in.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you download our free guide, we collect your first name (optional), email address, and role. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, role, years of experience, what you’d like help with, and your phone/WhatsApp number (optional). When you book a call through Calendly, we receive your name, email, chosen time, and your answers to the booking questions (such as your role, experience, and LinkedIn profile, if you share it).

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our analytics and advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page or ad that referred you, and campaign parameters in the link you clicked (for example, UTM tags or ad click IDs).

During coaching. Sessions take place over video tools such as Zoom or Google Meet. We do not record sessions unless you explicitly agree beforehand. Code you share for review is used only to coach you.

3. How we use your information

  • To reply to your message, run the free call you booked, and arrange paid coaching.
  • To deliver coaching and share session notes.
  • To send you the free guide and occasional emails about AI for analysts (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To handle scheduling, invoicing, and payments.
  • To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
  • To measure whether our advertising works and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our site (see “Advertising and cookies” below).
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect against misuse.

4. Advertising and cookies

We use the following third-party tools, which may set cookies or collect information on our site:

  • Google Analytics — to measure site traffic and usage. How Google uses data.
  • Google Ads — to measure conversions (for example, a booked call) from our Google ads and, where permitted, to show our ads to past visitors.
  • Microsoft Clarity — to understand how visitors use the site through heatmaps and anonymised session recordings (clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement). Text you type into forms is masked and not recorded. Microsoft’s privacy statement.
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook & Instagram) — to measure the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads and build audiences of people who visited our site. Meta’s privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share the contents of your enquiry (such as what you want to learn) with advertising platforms. We never use advertising tools to target children.

You can control ads and cookies by adjusting your browser settings, using Google Ad Settings, Meta Ad Preferences, or opting out at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

5. Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run Coachly, such as:

  • Resend (delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox)
  • Our website hosting provider
  • Calendly, for booking calls
  • Video tools such as Zoom or Google Meet
  • Payment processors, when you pay for sessions
  • Google, Microsoft, and Meta, for analytics and advertising as described above

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of Coachly, our clients, or others.

6. Children’s privacy

Coachly’s coaching and website are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact us at dhananjay@coachly.in and we will delete it.

7. How long we keep information

We keep your details for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the duration of coaching plus a reasonable period afterwards for records, tax, and legal purposes. Details of people who don’t become clients are deleted within 24 months, or sooner if you unsubscribe and ask us to. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK under the GDPR, California under the CCPA/CPRA, and India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email dhananjay@coachly.in. We will respond within 30 days and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Where the GDPR applies, we process your information to take steps at your request before entering into a coaching agreement, to perform that agreement, for our legitimate interests in running and improving Coachly, and with your consent for non-essential cookies and advertising.

9. International transfers

Coachly is based in India, and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. When we transfer information from the EU/UK, we rely on our providers’ standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

10. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe and limit access to what’s needed to coach you.
